Succeeding during the Summer

We all want to have a successful business. Some months are harder than others. Part of that depends on the business you are working.

Since it’s summer, I thought we would talk about some idea’s on how to get business during those months. There are several things you can do to keep business steady or even possible increase it. Here are some online and offline idea’s to help you out.

Most people have a computer and are online. Most businesses are online anymore as well. Below are some online idea’s to get your business noticed.

Joining networks is a great way to advertise. Ryze and Networking For Her are two great networks. Networking is a great way to meet new people. You learn about their business and then refer people to them. That is a great way to build trust with people. Once they trust you they will be willing to buy from you or refer people to you.

Plugboards are another great place to advertise. They are free to post to, which is a great thing. Some plugboard owners require you to have a plugboard on your site in order to post on there’s, but most do not require one.

Offline advertising is a great way to attract local people to your business.

You can use your business cards as advertising. You can leave your card on the table at the restaurant, in the bathroom, and on bulletin boards. The options are unlimited.

You could create a mom pack and put your business cards, flyers, or samples in them as well as info from others. You can join mompack.com and ask people to send fillers to you. You can take your packs to daycares and churches. You can also send your items to those requesting fillers.

These ideas are just a few of the many that are out there. I’m sure you can come up with many of your own. Just make sure you follow the laws in your community and make sure you ask business owners.
